I would recommend you check all the information on their website first before going there to ask questions. I understand they need to deal with everybody that is under their domain and I feel they are less people than required so the demand is big for them. I also understand that they need to deal with the same cases, many times and they have all the answers, so that may lead them to be pragmatic with people.Their website is very complete, there are some parts that are not translated to English, so use the Google Chrome and enable the translator. You should be expert in their website and reserve only the questions you don't have to ask them. Don't go there to make simple questions, you will just waste your and their time because many of that is on the website. If you really need contact to people, write them a email, I will German, even if it's translated, and wait a little but they will answer you.HAVE CASH. Sometimes you need to pay som fees and the machine atm-like can not accept your card like it happened to me. As far as I known the payment machine only e accepts DEBIT Cards! But if you really need to get some cash there is the Sparkasse Bank right on market Platz ststion. You can get cash there, but if you are not their customer, you will pay 5 Euro for withdrawing money... So take as much as you can.Organize all your documents in small transparent folders. People there have a lot of work to do and is really inconvenient and uncomfortable to see that they are waiting for you to find your papers... And even if you organize, sometimes you can get nervous and make a mess. It happens.Don't expect that they speak English, if possible take somebody that speaks with you. Make someone get out of their comfort zone is really annoying. I understand that people need to communicate somehow, but try not to creat a unpleasant situation asking "do you speak English" nobody likes to feel bad for not speaking a second language when their work doesn't require that.I don't speak German yet, and it's hard to deal with these situations. English is not my primary language, so I understand them. Actually they are the people that deals with your visa, imagine how many people from different countries go there... They are used to deal with people and have a hard communication. Just be prepared and make an effort to facilitate the process. Check a recheck your documents as soon as possible.Sometimes when you go there you don't get the information, so you should be certain that you have everything that is needed for the right process.Good luck!
Auslnderamt Offenbach am Main gefeilt mir sehr gut
Schlechteste Auslnder Behrde in Deutschland!
